Tri-Star Construction were awarded a project at Wits CLM building (Commerce, Law & management), which is a 3 level office block with high level internal & external finished, designed around a open atrium area.

The format of the contract is a NEC 4 contract. One of the unique features of the project is the TABS system (Thermally assisted building system) which consists of a network of pipes cast into the concrete slabs and connected to a central Chiller unit, this is essentially the air-conditioning system for the building and heats / cools the structure rather than the air in the building as per a conventional air-conditioning system.

The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2021.
