The Herringbone (previously known as 9 Hopkins) in Salt River, is a mixed-use, affordable housing development, with a retail component at street level, offering an interactive pedestrian interface. There are 398 residential units , most of which will be studio and one-bedroom units, totaling 168 & 154 respectively. There will also be 76 two-bedroom apartments with sizes ranging from 18mto 50m2 & 1198m² of retail space. The development aims to breathe life into Salt River Triangle by providing much-needed affordable rental units & and retail opportunities within the existing precinct. The site is close to the Victoria & and Albert Road corridors, which lead to the CBD. Residents of 9 Hopkins can enjoy a range of amenities, including a clubhouse, gym, co-working area, and a communal terrace. The development also features a private courtyard at its center, providing a peaceful oasis for residents.
